Hey - thanks for Reading Me! So many people just don't bother. Here are a few pointers to help you and Voyager get acquainted.
WHAT VOYAGER DOES FOR YOU
Voyager provides a way of combining the powers of your choice of web-authoring tools into a single, integrated authoring environment. Voyager's functionality, added to that of your existing tools, results in a flexible and friendly development environment, whose combined power exceeds the sum of its previously separate components. You're freed to concentrate on content, rather than on the mechanics of combining resources. We give you time. If time is money, we give you money. Not bad, for freeware!
INSTALLATION AND RUNNING REQUIREMENTS
Hardware:
Processor: Macintosh PowerPC 601 or higher. (68k version coming soon.)
Memory: AT LEAST 16 megabytes or RAM. 48 MB recommended, depending on the number of Helper Applications and web pages that you're working with.
System Software:
Mac System 7.5 or later.
You'll be relieved to know that Voyager's Installer places nothing in the System Folder (or of course, any of its subfolders).
REMEMBER TO REGISTER
If you haven't registered via the on-line form on-line form on our Website, you can do so by going to <www.wootech.com/Download/download.html> or by filling out the registration form included with the Voyager installation. Registered users of the Freeware Edition will be given discounts for the Voyager Professional Edition due out later this year.

The Voyager mailing list is an e-mail list where Voyager users from all around the world can discuss the latest issues of Web development as well as ask and answer questions about using Voyager. Think of it as a community where you can get insights and give insights.

PLEASE SEND US FEEDBACK AND PRODUCT FEATURE REQUESTS:
In the Voyager application folder, you will find a file called "Voyager Feedback Form.txt". Please send us as much feedback and as many feature requests as possible, because we want to make Voyager the best product possible. However, without your valuable feedback, we won't know what you really need or want (in terms of product features and fixes).
Also, if you find bugs in the program, then please send us a bug report. You can find the bug report form in the "Documentation" folder.
GETTING SUPPORT
Getting Started: Tutorial Help
If you choose the Easy Install option, then as part of your installation, a Tutorial File is placed on your disk, inside the Voyager application folder. (Or, you can load the Tutorial later, using Custom Install.) Working through it familiarizes you with basic techniques for using Voyager. There is also an extensive general discussion of the concepts underlying Voyager.
On-Line Help
If you choose the Easy Install option, then each window with a Help button has a corresponding Help File. (Or, you can load the Help files later, using Custom Install.) These help files give you an overview of the window, and a detailed explanation of all its controls.
Mailing List
You can send email to listserver@wootech.com, including the phrase "subscribe voyager-list YourName" in the body of the message. You should leave the subject line blank. This lets you send questions to anyone else in the Voyager user community who has also subscribed. That way, the experience of all is available to anyone. Experienced users can help you quickly gain the most from your Voyager development.

As you'd expect, <www.wootech.com> contains late-breaking news of Voyager version updates and any other products we may be working on. We are also going to be offering free half-day training sessions at our offices, to any registered users who would like them. Look to the website for the latest details.
CAUTIONS AS TO USE
Read the "Known Problems and Limitations" file in the "Documentation" folder which was installed as a part of the Easy Install package. It gives you the latest information and tips on some of Voyagers known problems.
There are many models of PPC Macs out there, and we haven't been able to test on every one. But so long as the system and memory requirements are met, we don't expect you'll have problems. If you do, please email the Voyager user's mailing list and one of us might be able to help. (See Mailing list above.) Much though we'd like to, we can't offer one-on-one help, either by phone or email.
There should be no adverse interactions with existing system extensions, but if you find one, please let us know.
